That is exactly how I felt this morning. As the sun started to rise, the colors outside were absolutely amazing. I wish I would have taken my camera outside to capture it for you. The orange tones made it almost look like a sephia photo that I had manipulated in photoshop. I didn't ever actually see the sun, but the colors it produced were stunning. God gave me a little reminder that he is here in every moment of my day.
The sun is now up and the colors have faded, but I can already tell it is going to be a beautiful fall day. Since it is November in South Dakota, I am also reminded that these beautiful days will soon turn into cold, white mornings. I think that today we will spend time outside in God's beauty before we need to dig out the snow boots and ice skates.
As I head into another weekend, I am going to try hard to remember God in all of the little details that surround me because I know without a doubt that He is here.
