Mamavation Monday - Total Makeover

I decided that since I am focusing on CHANGE in 2010 that my blog needed a little change, too. How do you like the new Girlfriends Get Real? Thank you to Jo-Lynne from DCR Design and Musings of a Housewife. She did a fabulous job. She is working on a few more little details. I am so excited about the new design.

When I was thinking about my Mamavation post this week I was thinking about weight loss. My goal is to get to 135 pounds. However, more than anything I want to find balance. I want to get into an exercise routine, I want to create healthy meals for my family, and I want to feel good about myself.

Last week was an amazing week for me. Check out my vlog to listen to my success.

I am super excited about this week. My focus this week:
*No Soda
*Work-out everyday (either at the gym or with EA Sports Active)
*Recreate a couple more recipes to a lighter version

I can't wait to read all of the other Mamavation posts today. Don't forget to join us tonight at 9pm CST on MomTV with Leah @Bookieboo for Mamavation!

Well, it's my first visit here, but I do LOVE the title and the design! My blog is ready for a facelift, too, but I just haven't made it a priority yet.

Anyway, you're doing awesome. Looking forward to getting to know you better through Mamavation!

Transitioning to a healthy lifestyle takes time. What's important is that you have taken the step to start it. Great job and keep up the good work!

Your new look looks so "light"! I'm supposed to have given up pop, but I'm back. Must stop the pepsi breakdowns before they start! :)

LOVE the look of your blog! I love Jo-Lynne too.

Great job on the weight loss for the week. Sometimes just little changes make a big difference. One way that I lighten up my baked goods is to sub 1/2 the oil/butter with unsweetened applesauce. Cuts out a LOT of fat and calories.

Good luck on staying away from the soda. I know that's a difficult change for so many (not me, I've never really liked it). Keep up the great work - you can do it!
