We are In His Hands

I can hear the weariness and stress in his voice,
But I am almost 200 miles away.

I try to comfort him through the phone,
But there is not much I can do to help.

Deadlines to meet, a move to make, kids and a wife who miss him.
My words are few, I am weary, too.

Finally, I say, there is nothing we can do.
We are in His hands.

The work will get done, the move will be made, we will all soon be together.
We are in His hands.

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28
