Peace on this Journey

I sit here at my computer, trying hard not to be overwhelmed.

I am tired. I miss my husband dearly.

A wife is not meant to be without her husband.

Daughters are not meant to be without their dad.

We are blessed that it is only a short absence.

I pray hard for peace on this journey.

I pray that one house sells.

I pray that another can be bought.

I pray for my daughters as they cry about how hard it is to say good-bye.

I sit here trying to write from His Word.

But right now, I know what I need is to soak in His Word and be silent.

Today my prayer is that I can let go of the stress and find peace in my Father.

Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? Matthew 6:27

oh friend - my heart groans when I read this post. Take comfort - God already knows how this is going to end. It's ALL in HIS hands!

When we moved to Orlando - my husband was in China! I was so flustered being w/o him for 2 weeks - hardly speaking on the phone - packing up our home - and setting up accounts and such in Orlando. He arrived home at 6am, drove away at noon, and signed on the new house at 4pm.

We laugh about that now!!

There is an end - and I promise God will even comfort your little ones hearts too!!

Praying for you all friend!

Sending you tons of hugs Cuz'. I know it is very difficult being away from your hubby. This could be a perfect time given to you by God to really meditate on what makes your hubby so special, what makes you so crazy in love with him.
You could write it all down or create a fun album to share with him. The girls could do it too. Then present it to him when he is finally with you for good.
Will keep you all in my prayers as you continue on this exciting but stressful journey!

I pray that you're feelin His peace Amy. I too am in a season of waiting and just needing to be still with Him. Ironically, we are also waiting for a house to sell and one to be bought. I pray that Gods peace is comforting your spirit today and everyday for that matter. Thanks for sharing.
