Saying Goodbye

I am sitting here on my front porch with my coffee and my Bible. This is one of my favorite places in the world to be in the mornings (when it is warm of course). Soon, I will be saying goodbye to this beautiful place. There will be no more mornings writing, reading and dreaming in this place.

Our new home doesn't have a porch. I will have an office with a big window, but I know that it will not be the same.

I should be packing up our home. Packing away memories of this place. Another stop on our journey. A new adventure lies ahead. More memories to be made.

While I am packing and the cleaning I am praising God for this stop in our journey. The people He placed in our lives in this place will never be forgotten.

The girls and I will be exploring today, taking pictures and enjoying our last few days in this place that we call Home.

After moving nations, I completely understand. Making new memories back in the US, simply delightful. Enjoy your days on the porch and expect beautiful new fav spots to dot the horizon.

Thanks for splashing around with me! You sent a tidal wave of encouragement my way.

Hugs for your day,
Sara

Love that porch! You will find a new fav spot for quiet time and it will be just as special :-)

Have a great day!

Praying for you! I know that porch and home is a very special place. You will make the new place home very quickly and find your special place for your time with the Lord and you will enjoy your office!

I'm praying for you as you move! I know that God has incredible things in store. It won't be the same, but it will be good! :)

sob - cry - snort

Oh the joy of what is ahead. Reading Hebrews 11 - looking out the windshield with hope and joy for what God has in store.

praying during this transition

I can relate!! In our new home I ended up creating an outdoor room on a concrete patio. My husband built a lattice 'roof' over the concrete base that I covered with a blooming vine. I then purchased a beautiful patio set at a garage sale and I LOVE my new 'porch!!!'

We are in the middle of moving from IL to TX and it's hard on my family too. It's such a good reminder that as Christians this world is not our home, and we have so much to look forward to and anticipate!

Wow! That's your house in Mobridge!!! Holy buckets. I didn't realize that area of S.D. had that fancy of houses. I too am sorry you are moving to a place with no front porch. Our new home does not either. I miss that the most from our house in Dells.
Just think though it will be so nice to be close to family.
Sending you hugs! Sorry I missed the college girl get together!!!
