Her Gift

My middle daughter and I were doing her devotion tonight. It was about learning how to pray. We read about Jesus special prayer that he taught to the disciples.

The prayer at the end of the devotion said, "Lord teach me how to pray."

She looked at me and said, "But Mom, I already know how to pray. It's a gift."

She smiled and we giggled.

But their is so much truth to her little comment. She does have a gift. Her heart is full of compassion for others. She remembers when someone needs prayer. She lifts them up over and over again.

I am so thankful for her huge heart.

It is Monday and once again I am linking up with the Gratitude Community over at A Holy Experience.
